Today I am so excited to be sharing with you my collaboration with Piper and Scoot! I am obsessed with everything on their website, but this item in particular is a Summer essential! Until these past couple years, I have never ever been into one piece swimming suits. Now things are completely different! I am obsessed with one pieces. Not all one pieces though. If you give me a well designed, funky, or unique suit, I’m game. I love my two pieces, but it’s good to switch things up. This suit is well designed, flattering, and gorgeous! Click the link below and get yourself one for your summer festivities!

Although the colors in my look don’t exactly shout SUMMER, you can definitely pull this look off in the summer. Instead of paring this top with black jeans, like me, zip on some white jeans. BOOM. You’ve taken a big step towards making this your summer look! Below I have taken this look from day-to-night. In other words, flats to heels. Want to know one of my shopping secrets? I go into the store and try to find items that look too funky, or questionable. I try them on. They usually end up being the items that I love the most! This top is one that I saw on the rack and thought, “Wow, that could be really hard to pull off. It kind of reminds me of my grandpa!” Who would have thought that it would turn into one of my statement shirts. Some may hate it, but I think it’s a keeper!

Are you that girl who loves a F U N K Y statement piece? I am not talking about a statement necklace or statement shoes…This shirt is taking us all to FUNKY TOWN! I have paired it with some distressed jeans, like always, but this shirt would look so BOMB with a pencil skirt, overalls, joggers, etc. Even though this shirt is crazy different, you can pair it with most everything. That is what I love about this top. Yes, I did stick with the black and white look, but I did lather my lips with a pink lipstick. Give your look that pop of color by just adding a tiny bit to those luscious lips of yours!

Dipped in Embroidery
February 18, 2015
Hey beautiful peeps!
If you love embroidery as much as I do, then this top is most definitely for you! It can be dressed up for a night out, or you can throw it on as a swimming suit cover up for the beach! I love to have pieces like this in my closet. Why? Any piece that is a statement is a must have. You don’t have to think very hard to style a statement piece. It already is amazing on its own. So, my look today is a simple one! I have paired this top with dark denim (would also look good with black denim or distressed denim) and black funky sandals. Sweet and simple.

Oh La La with a Sprinkle of Cheetah
January 1, 2015
Feeling funky? Me too! Todays look is a fun one, especially if you love cheetah. I wanted to tame the “cheetahness” so I put on a fitted sweater over the top of the dress, and tied it at the bottom so it was a little more flattering. I made sure that you could see the top of the dress coming out of the neck of my sweater, as well as, the sleeves coming out of the sleeves of the sweater. That way you can tell it is a dress and not just a midi skirt. This look is so simple, yet it is can definitely be an eye catcher!
