Single During the Holidays

I am just going to come out and say it because I know lots of you think it. The holiday season can be so hard sometimes! Not everyone has the ideal situation. I am lucky to have an awesome family, BUT I would be lying if I said that I didn’t get sad. I know I joke around about being single, A LOT, but being single during the holidays hits a little harder. All my siblings are married. Almost all my cousins are married. Even though there is so much love that radiates from all of them, I still feel lonely. Because I hate how this feels and I KNOW that some of my close friends feel the same way, I decided that this year I am going to change my ways. This is how: NEW TRADITIONS!

I can’t believe that I am going to admit this, but I have NEVER been a part of a friendsgiving, a white elephant gift party, etc. I am vowing to you that this year is my year to start new traditions and make the holiday season a time to for me give back, laugh my head off, and bond with those who feel a little less love during the holidays! Also, more parties mean…

MORE EXCUSES TO DRESS UP!

I haven’t done a “fashion” post in a while, but as I was looking for fun pieces I could not only shoot but wear to fun parties, I kept ending up on Express‘ website! I didn’t realize how funky and “out there” this brand was. They have everything from “I want to sit on my couch and have a cozy holiday party” to “I AM A FREAKING STAR AND I WANT EVERYONE TO LOOK HOW AMAZING I LOOK” outfits. So, with that being said, I wanted to share a few pieces that I found on Express that I think you need to spoil yourself with.

First, this set that I am wearing in the picture below will forever be one of my go-to’s. You can find the jacket here, and the matching pants here. If you haven’t noticed, I love myself a good set!

Below are other pieces that caught my eye and will probably accompany me to my holiday shenanigans!

At the end of the day, I want all of us to feel AND look good! Is that too much to ask?!

xo,
Paige
