Memorial Day Madness
HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY! I just wanted to give thanks for all of those who have served our country. We are so blessed to have had so many men and women sacrifice their lives for all of us. For today’s post, I tried to keep my outfit somewhat patriotic for this gorgeous Memorial Day. I’ve mixed florals and stripes once again! The one thing I am LOVING about this outfit is the sunnies I am rockin from WWW.TMBR.COM. They aren’t your typical sunglasses. They are made of wood! How cool is that? I looooove them! You HAVE to check them out! I know MOST of us have the day off, right?…

WEIRDO
Sometimes I like to ditch the classy style and try to rock the funky and “weird” look. Is that breaking the rules? No way! You don’t need to stick to one style. I mean, you may have your go-to style, but switch it up sometimes. Life is boring if you stick to the same thing all the time! Today’s look is super fun. I found this crazy hat at Forever 21 and I just had to have it! Because the hat is so funky, I’m keeping it super chill with my black leggings and graphic tee. I laced on my converse kicks and my funky, comfy, casual chic outfit was…

Memorial Weekend Makeover
I know you are all as excited as I am for Memorial Day weekend, right?! Sadly I have to work, BUT I can dream about going on vacation. A warm, sunny, and sandy vacation. Mmmm hmmmm. If that were the case, I would go on a mini shopping spree. Give my wardrobe a little makeover! I’m keeping everything white and cream, not because of the crazy labor day/memorial day rules, but because it’s so fresh! What would you want your Memorial Day weekend suitcase to be filled with? Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone! xoxo P Memorial Weekend Makeover by paigewatts featuring a white shirt H M white shirt $59 – hm.com White shirt…

The Kate Dress
I have a feeling you all will love today’s post! I am wearing “The Kate Dress” from Mindy Mae’s Market. I am officially obsessed! It’s a dress you can style many different ways. However, today I styled it as if it were a perfect and relaxing summery Saturday. The sun is shinning and it’s not too hot! It’s the perfect day to relax and chill, or maybe make my way to the mall. This dress is definitely one that you make glamorous! How? Clip on a beautiful statement necklace, or slip on some stilettos. Most every girl loves to get dressed up for a girls night out, right? However, most girls really…

No Love Lost
A graphic tee and a patterned mini have me in love! Hopefully you’ll fall in love too! This “No Love Lost” graphic tee is a little gem that I found at Forever 21. I love pairing this graphic tee with any pattern or wearing it with dark denim and throwing a blazer over it. 🙂 I whipped out my bright and funky mini skirt for some fun summer style! I tried on many tanks, tees, and button ups on with this skirt. I must say, like a lot of my posts, this skirt can be dressed up and rocked on a girls night out, OR you can make it casual,…

Floppy Hat Blues
Shades of blue are taking over the blog today! This look shouts summer doesn’t it? I have pair my light blue chino pants with my light weight blue and white striped button up. Again, I am keeping my outfit pieces in the same color scheme. I tossed on my amazing floppy hat (that matches my color theme) and called it good. I am loving my new jewelry pieces from Bangled! It is such a fun and affordable website that has amazing jewelry! You HAVE to check them out. Anyway, I wanted to throw in one more color, a bright color, so I am using my yellow purse to brighten things up.…

Black and White Polkas
Today’s outfit sure doesn’t shout crazy, BUT it does shout classy and somewhat comfy. With the weather going back and forth from hot and cold, I styled my polka dot popover shirt with some fancy linen shorts. The awesome thing about this outfit is you can either dress it up with some heels, or make it more of a casual look by strapping on some sandals. I can’t wait to get more summer looks up on the blog! Stay tuned. xoxo P PHOTOGRAPHY BY ALI ANDERSON Polka Dot Button Up: JCrew Factory Shorts: Old Item. (Similar Pair Here) Wedges: Aldo (Old. Similar Pair Here) Watch: Betsey Johnson (Old. Checks and Stripes
I could pattern mix all day every day. It’s one of my favorite things to do! I love trying to see what crazy pieces I can put together to make some kind of an “outfit masterpiece.” 🙂 Today I have paired my ivory/black striped tee with my dark denim pants. I tied my checked button up around my waist. Any color or patterned button up would have worked with this outfit, because the colors of my striped tee are neutral. Never forget about those luscious lips of yours. Surprisingly adding some color to your lips can make a big difference! It can definitely dress up your casual look. xoxo P PHOTOGRAPHY BY…

Blue on Blue
Today’s post is a quicky! I am sporting a super comfy casual outfit. I know most of you would agree with me and say those are the best kinds of outfits! Sometimes you just want to be comfy right? You can still wear a sweatshirt and not look like you just rolled out of bed. Since the weather is so nice, I paired my sweatshirt with some liberty printed shorts. I still felt like a plain Jane, so I did what most people are doing today and tied my chambray button up around my waist. I kept each piece in the same color scheme. I don’t always do this, but…

Floral Crowns
Look..it’s another funky floral shoot! There are a lot of patterns going on here. The field we found was just GORGEOUS. We wanted to be like every body else, and try to rock the floral crowns! Ya…I know…you wouldn’t really wear a big floral crown in real life, but the setting was just so perfect. I did keep our outfits pretty simple. There aren’t too many layers. This goes to show that you don’t need to have a billion different things going on to make an outfit work. Just get creative with styling a few fun pieces. There’s not much more to say about this shoot except that ALL of the…
